Streets Alive
Poverty is real in Lethbridge. Poverty is not a “topic”. It is real people in real trouble.
Yes! There is poverty in Lethbridge, and it is affecting people you know, right now.
- People are choosing between paying rent and buying lunch for their kids because they can’t do both.
- People are couch surfing, sleeping “rough” out in the elements, or worse, because they can’t afford a room of their own for even one night.
- People walk kilometre after kilometre, everywhere they go, through wind and rain and snow, because they cannot afford bus fare.
These aren’t just any people. These are OUR people – people of Lethbridge!
There is a face (and a name, and a story) for every person served at Streets Alive Mission. These faces matter.
Crowsnest Lake Bible Camp
Our Mission Crowsnest Lake Bible Camp Association is an autonomous, evangelical, faith ministry dedicated to bringing glory to God by responding to the needs of the whole person according to the Biblical principles of evangelism and discipleship through offering programs in a camp setting.
Southern Alberta Bible Camp
Mission Statement: “Southern Alberta Bible Camp is a youth-focused Christian camp whose purpose is to challenge, encourage and inspire campers spiritually and physically to help equip them for life and to develop Christian leadership in young adults.” Vision Statement: “The vision of Southern Alberta Bible Camp is to see lives transformed by God through the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Camp Evergreen
Camp Evergreen is a non-profit, charitable organization owned and operated by the Alberta Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.
Mission: We exist to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to grow kids and youth spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. We seek to wholly-cultivate confidence, facilitate courage and equip leaders among our campers, guests and staff - all while having fun and using God's creation as a tool.
Vision: Our vision is to be a camping ministry that sees individual lives transformed through the power of Jesus.
